I haven't made a deviantart journal post yet, so I thought I'd start one.
I saw IronMan last night and thought it was really incredible. I'm not a big fan of American comics (I much prefer Japanese), but the combination of a deep, twisted plot full of trickery, satire on the American bureaucracy, and a 100 million dollar budget was an excellent recipe for an excellent movie. My favourite line of Tony Stark was "That's ridiculous; I don't paint," when he was called the Da Vinci of the 21st century. Da Vinci didn't quite make evil wierdo war weapons either... The 3D animation is profoundly better than any movie I've seen. Every bit of animation is indistinguishable from the liveaction bits. The movie was truly a work of art.
And I had a large chunk of tuna sashimi with mango salsa, a fried rice cake, and napa from Stephen's beforehand, so I was all the more content.
You can expect some t-shirt designs from IronMan in the coming week (one chest design and another full body).
